Join us for the HIRE Community of Practice: Train the Trainer, an interactive and practical training focused on NRWC Fair Chance Employer Engagement. Participants will gain strategies and tools to strengthen employer outreach, better understand and respond to employer needs, challenge common misconceptions about fair chance hiring, prepare for effective employer conversations, and develop a compelling employer engagement pitch. This session is designed to build confidence and equip workforce and community partners to create stronger employer partnerships and expand employment opportunities for justice-impacted individuals. The HIRE Community of Practice: Train the Trainer will take place from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Boys Republic. The session will begin with breakfast, networking, and an introduction to the day’s goals, followed by interactive training focused on fair chance employer engagement, understanding employer needs, research and preparation, and developing an effective employer pitch. Participants will have opportunities to engage in discussion and hands-on activities throughout the training, with lunch provided as part of the program.
