Dairy Farmer Sustainability
Dairy Cares is a statewide coalition formed in 2001 comprised of California's dairy farmer and processor associations whose mission is to ensure the long-term sustainability of California's dairy families. The core of their mission is to secure strong environmental stewardship together with responsible animal care in order to produce healthy dairy products, while preserving and protecting our planet's limited resources. Dairy Cares believes that updating the community and its leaders about the sustainability efforts of dairy families is important, thus James Garner who is their Communications Director will be addressing issues such as water conservation and drought, greenhouse gas emissions, water and air quality, and animal care and well-being.
