Mayor's Prayer Breakfast

We are excited to announce the return of the Chino Valley Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast which is scheduled for Tuesday, May 11, 2021 from 7:00-9:00 a.m. at our new location – 3 Point Play Zone – 2569 Chino Hills Parkway – Chino Hills.  Mayors Brian Johsz of Chino Hills and Eunice Ulloa of Chino are thrilled to be part of this event as hosts as we focus on prayer for our community, our families, our schools and our nation.

The theme of this event is “Into His Presence – Out to the World” with actor Kirk Cameron as the keynote speaker.  Kirk has been a part of the national landscape since starring as “Mike Seaver” in the 80’s hit sit-com, “Growing Pains.” Since then, he has appeared in dozens of television and movie productions, including the “Left Behind” series, “Monumental,” “Connect” and “Fireproof”- the marriage-centered film that became the #1 grossing inspirational movie of 2008.  We are so blessed to have him with us as we return after the 2020 shut down.  Returning as M/C for the event is Don Dix, host of The Answer on AM590 radio.

Armen Keuilian, who is Executive Sports Producer at KCBS/KCAL TV.  He and his family live in Chino and he has been leading worship for 12 years at CCCH.  He will be one of our soloists along with Zeal who with her husband have a music ministry entitled ReleaseTheZeal Inc. where they not only produce music but other arts that they do for the Kingdom of God.  She is also part of the Gateway-Karis Community Church's worship team.

Committee Chair Sylvia Nash said “Last year was the last event both cities had before the shutdown.  2021 will now be the first event for either city after opening back up. We are so blessed and so excited to be coming back together again.  We have several sponsors who have already signed up.  We are working together to make this event memorable and inspiring for all who attend.”

Ticket price is $25.00 and can be purchased through the Chino Valley Chamber of Commerce.  The committee expects 400-500 to attend.  “Pastors from the more than 50 churches in the area will be participants in the program” says Pastor Mike Spradlin, senior pastor of Valley Christian Church, Chino who is part of the organizing committee.
